What Does Love Say? Poem by George Semper

What Does Love Say?

What does love say?

Love is a Firestone and cream colored cone waiting to be held. Flavor shades of lightning blues and Hell Gate reds.
Jazz laid tunes that surround your soul with the keys of the kingdom, with Rap artist lyrics that spell the truth in words.
The transitions, in Love are the moments that carry you away in a breeze of peppermint tingles and a cup of dark chocolate blues.
Captured by my mind expanded to my toes, I dance for you, I see myself in the window waiting to return the reflection of you that has me suspended in a heart throb of Candice emotion and feverish play.

In your arms I am clay to be molded twisted in a world gone bad from heavens good. Peaceful thoughts of a heart pumped spirit, brightly cast across the sky watching time turn into clusters of contagious grace, waiting to be united in a fray of endless emotion and curious passion

Love is the snow covered ground bringing a chill of strength to protect a land of pure earth… A sun lit sky that is shadowed by the moon when the crisp air of the morning stage turns from the sheepish day to the impolitic imagined sky of a tomorrows dream built from the thought of today.

Love works both day and night anxious to display a first day kiss and a last night's hug. Hold me squeeze me turn me ways that my soul has never known.

Wake me in the fire of your lust and suspend me in the coolness of your heart. Show me that a moment's love is not defined by a smile but by the time that you have embossed upon my heart

Love simply says… I love you
