A Bouquet Of Beautiful Flowers Poem by George Semper

A Bouquet Of Beautiful Flowers

Favored with a bouquet of beautiful flowers that I admire and keep near
Most precious in their beauty and such fragrance that fills the air
Like most I do adore them but there are times they may go away
Never the less my flowers memories are admired through out my day

And while within my travels do my flowers continue to bloom
Provide visions of their loveliness for others within the room
Does the radiance of their pastels bring sunshine within the light?
And are others as I've enamored, in the presence which glow at night

Maybe what is my question is to share the treasures we know
Or stand guard within the magnificence of what has been bestowed

Some may explore the rainbows to find that pot of gold
Rush it to a place of silence and hoard what now they hold
Others will share the moments of story's that's never been told
Turn vocabulary into visions of stories that now unfold

I believe it's hard to share, what's learned for us to love
For fare that another's essence will provide us with a shove
I think what I'll hold on to are the moments that we've declared
The fun we had, the look in our eyes, to know how much you care

Maybe what is my question is to share the treasures we know
Or stand guard within the magnificence of what has been bestowed
