We're Not Friends Anymore Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

We're Not Friends Anymore

We're not friends anymore (Repeat X3)
Like we use to be
I have closing the door
Can't keep going at war
We're not friends anymore
Like we use to be

I just seen something in you, something i haven't noticed before
Didn't think twice to look at the clues, though at times in between there were a few
Where i would just stop and think
And watch as the ship would sink

No longer feel
Things will work after tonight
If things will ever get right
Like they were before
The battery ran out of volts
Wouldn't have known of the dance
Left me in a state of a trance
There's no longer a chance

We're not friends anymore (Repeat X3)
Like we use to be
I have closing the door
Can't keep going at war
We're not friends anymore
Like we use to be

If you could see things from my view
I'd think you'd have a clear prospective
Sometimes we may not know the reasons
Changes come at the start of a season
Winters chill provides the distance
As we look forward to the next day

We're not friends anymore
Like we use to be
I have closing the door
Can't keep going at war
We're not friends anymore
Like we use to be
