War Memorial - Nation's pride
Thursday,29th October 2020

It is a sad memory
that impression we all carry
with heavy heart
to sacrifice life is a sacred part

we don't know about heaven,
war heroes are given
grant burial with a gun salute
the sad tune is blown by the flute

see the heroic fight
whether the country was wrong or right
they laid down their lives
so we live with peace

we create a war memorial
for such brave soldiers
to remain in our heart
whenever we visit

the country shall remain indebted
and get their names decorated
with war medals and citation
the gratitude is shown by the people and nation
