Waking up to the unknown

Times have changed
I used to wake up to a pre-planned day
Now i wake up to the unknown.
Nothing surprises me anymore

It could be;
'The neighbour died last night'
The guy i last saw midnight
Full of life
Going on about what he disliked.

It could be; 'There is no more work'
There is a shutdown due to a virus
Or the government has changed
Overnight
I just shrug my shoulders and think 'Oh well', that's alright.

There's something constant though,
The love of God is something i know.
Come rain come shine
I know with God I'll be fine
