Basic Instinct Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Basic Instinct

Rating: 4.8

Basic instinct

I miss the basic instinct
Before love went extinct
You would be mine
I would be fine
I would be yours
Loving you more
They say obey
You are okey
I am not well
In a bad spell
My spirit loves you
You know it's true
Your spirit loves me
In it completely free
Damn it
Damn this
The rules
The fools
The demands
Like in remand
Why can't i have you
Feel something new
This damn society
This damn anxiety
I got one life to live
One love to you to give
They say i belong there
Not with you it's not fair
Do we elope
Will we cope
Do i just tell the world to go to hell?
Do i just trust my heart where it fell?
Help me love
Help me come
I am dying inside
Want a ride
Your spirit loves me
In it i am free
My spirit loves you
You know this is true
I have grief
You have belief
I have to have you or die
This i wont lie
My spirit loves you
Your spirit loves me
My spirit
Your spirit
Our spirit
One spirit
One love one spirit

The more often I read this poem, the more I like it, it Even the title of the poem 'Basic Instinct' speaks volumes. The poem asks many simple questions, we have all asked at least some of them. The kind of questions we all ask, many because of the attitude of people and society. The questions taken together seem to give answers, if you think about the questions enough, they shout answers, live your life, not everyone else's. Loved the poem Deluke.
