A Perfect Person Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

A Perfect Person

Rating: 4.4

A perfect person

A perfect person
Is not perfect per se
It's a person suffering disaffection
Seeking solace in pseudo affection

Isn't a perfect person boring?
Making an issue of snoring?
Always point scoring?
And scorn pouring?

We need less of, not more
So we can get in the door.
Of the perfect person
Putting our normal face on

Saddest of all is that a Perfect Person is a neurotic person. Sure not a healthy amiable person. Good poem, Deluke! I THOUGHT this was your based upon your own poem.

It's the flaws in people that make them beautiful and unique.5*

I liked the seriousness followed by the humor--gave the poem a deeper texture that way as well as a graciousness toward our flaws---well done!

There is no perfect person. And life of perfection can never be achieved. But making it work for better understanding is better s d sound.

There is nothing called perfection, it's all state of mind. So accept the way they are and what they do. Nice thoughtful poem. You did not add me in your friend's list even with this brand new format.
