Waiting For You Poem by Evy Moore

Waiting For You

I lay here broken on a cold winter night
Impatiently awaiting for our love to take flight
I lay here quiet no voice not a sound
Impatiently awaiting for your love to come around
I lay here cold no touch to my skin
Eagerly awaiting your feel once again

My heart lays decaying diseased with no cure
Waiting for your kiss that was both good and pure
My soul lays here drowning in endless despair
Awaiting warm emotions that are no longer there
My body lays broken my skin a pale blue
Impatiently awaiting the day I'll find you
