Forgotten Poem by Evy Moore

Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

A shattered soul floats through the darkness
Like a ghost it goes unheard, unnoticed
Fading in and out of time like wind fades in the distance
Coverd by depression, bursting with fear and despair
Once shining bright now dull and dark like a shadow
Doomed to wander the darkness faceless to the world
A shattered soul floats through the darkness
Alone, abandoned, without a doubt forgotten

I have been reading your poems and they are very emotional, well versed and a joy to read. I think you should keep writing. My only critique is to watch your spelling. I really liked this poem but I was a little thrown at the words ' dual and dark' 'doomed to wonder' and 'without a dout'. It threw the mood off a little and I wondered if you meant: 'dull and dark' doomed to wander' and 'without a doubt'. You are one of the few who can understand the joy of words.: -)

*Crys for the entire night* Evy...I love you so much. You are so much like me. I love your poems and they touch me.I have never in my life read a poem that has touched me the way yours do. They are all good and you should write more of them and don't let anyone make fun or say you can't write them... Love, Jess
