My Desire Poem by Evy Moore

My Desire

Rating: 3.4

Hair so dark like the nightly sky
I will not sit and watch your love pass me by
Skin so smooth like a silk woven dress
Judgeing by the things that i am feeling, you must be an enchantress
Heart so warm like a cold day's fire
Of all the fine things it is you that i desire
Kisses so sweet like a afternoon treat
My feelings for you are love and love cannot be beat
Your peronlity is so diffrent, so pure, so shy
Just let me tell you that i love you but you need not ask why
Voice so soft like a warm summer breeze
When i'm found in your sight I uncontrolably freeze
Beholding your beauty is like beholding a rare treasure
The feelings that we share i hope they'll last forever

This poem has some lovely images in it and your emotions come across sincerely. It's great to someone so young dipping into his heart to share his feelings with the world. Keep writing Evy. Love, Alison

Evy, thank you for your note and so, I want to say that your poetry is full of intelligence and very good rhyme. Don't give up for lack of comments; people will discover you in time. Meanwhile, remember the old adage: to make a friend, you've got to be a friend.......... This poem is sweet and lovely in all the ways that count. Esther : ]
