Waiting For Sunrise Poem by Precious Okidika

Waiting For Sunrise

Rating: 3.5

I am waiting for the sun.
Hoping and praying,
In every moment watching,
Waiting for sunrise.
The shade of the clouds surround me.
I am an inconsistent part of the darkness.
I am an obvious part of the blindness,
Waithng for sunrise.
Though i am a prisoner,
Bond by chains in darkness,
I am free when i remember,
I am waiting for sunrise.
I sink like a dying man,
Sinking in an ocean of darkness.
Bitten by the sharp tooth of darkness.
I am waiting for sunrise.
