And learnt the virtue of purity
Finding the grandeur of fellow beings
I learnt what friendliness is.

Seeing the helpless and the needy
I learnt the depth of compassion
I learnt the trick of living
Within the means I possess.

Making all needed attempts
I learnt how to achieve success
Focusing my attention on You
I learnt the value of devotion.
