Untitled Poem by Anand Rai

Untitled

Rating: 5.0

Wading the shallow water,
The cool air swallows the heat,
And when the sun peeks through the clouds,
You just wish you could float on the water.

Looking ahead to where the river ends,
You see the waves rushing ahead,
Trying to keep up with those gone,
Forgetting that they really are gone

Just like the waves of a million cheering hands,
The flowers sway hither thither at the bay,
Dancing with the rhythm of the musical river,
They are in a world of their own.
