Alien Poem by Anand Rai

This place that I grew up in,
Seems strange 'cause I remember nothing,
No joy of being with loved ones,
And no tears been wiped out.

Why does everything seem an alien to me,
I am lost in an island of broken world,
And I am trying to stick these broken piece,
Which once was what I thought my life.

Such beauties that walk all around the place,
Never even take a glance back at me,
I am an invisible alien to them,
Lost between the world of present and future.

Times has changed and altered every aspect of humanity,
Life seems so strange and ugly,
Like every moment lasts forever and its a pity,
'Cause they are not that beauty to live through.

Wonders and wonder how alienated you may feel,
When words seem a blur,
And you are an alien amidst these human,
Who got no time to see through your skin
