I Am The Thought Poem by Anand Rai

I Am The Thought

Rating: 5.0

Why lie to me when I am your thought always your eye,
When I am after all who you rally are to your true self,
Don't make me happy with sad fights fought at a loss'
And won blissfully but yet with victory miles away

Tell me what you really want and I will give you all,
Wish wonderful dreams and I will give you happiness,
That will last evenly but leave you moment less happier,
That broods over the unending era of sad sighs all day long

Build me strong and awfully tasty as you bake a cake,
Hard from the base, soft, sweet, and extremely desirable,
Burn my eyes of desire and dumb my lying mouth,
Let me just be a thought thats exactly what I am for days.

Leave aside false slideshow that I present to you,
the superman, and the winged bat man is not what you really need,
But a true companion who wrongs your wrong way,
And corrects your flawed thoughts that thoughtlessly creeps in.
