Unspoken Poem by Raihana Abdul Jabbar

Unspoken

Rating: 5.0

I have things to tell you,

Things that will lead to a permanent closure.

Lifting cut glass from the skin,

Healing, forgetting.

But the prospect isn't sunny.

I need a shroud to slink in,

Weaving mystery of what may happen.

The pain is a reminder,

You are attainable, yet unattainable,

I can, yet I don't.

An odd sense of power,

Power of unspoken emotions.
