The Universal Spirit
The world. forced to Lock Down.
As if though.imprisoned after judged guilty,
Guilty of taking life for granted/
For forgetting the appreciation of minute details.
I SAW THE SKY, in t's marvelous routine.
as it drew it; s glorious pink and pale blue clouds across a days job done.
The sun like a great King retiring to sleep after a laborious day,
As the moon peeps lightly, as if though on a mutual agreement
I have looked at the sky for over four decades.
but thanks to the forced quarantine, , the world is subjected to,
I truly did see the bosom of beauty.which did I see indeed once upon my fathers knee.
The birds of wing, had now begun to retreat.in order so unique
As if though a drill display, The crows. the cranes. pigeons and cranes,
The swallows. and humming bird all flying in the same fame.
with the Eagle swirling in circles like it governed the sky.
Among them, I watched for days. a Thrush singing, in glory
Or may I say making it's mark. the universal spirit summoned it's last
Night.drew it's final blanket of darkness. gently did she tuck those
to retire.
From yet another day gifted by God.
I smile. for I realize that I labour too much,
in my chosen work of teaching for seventeen years.
I love my job, My students need me
Yet. tis I who have deceived me, deceived me from living life,
Of being one with the Universal Spirit.
