Unexpected Sight Poem by Manonton Dalan

Unexpected Sight

I let rain teasing my brain
poor umbrella useless again
i reach home started to pour
i said thanks water my lawn
it stop and clear sky came
so as birds in flocks, eating

a puppy wasn't please to see
tried to chase; ends like me
watching with awe how pretty
chest dotted green, most brown
they keep pecking; worms found
leave it alone; seeds they come
