Twist Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Twist

Rating: 5.0

Say not love is bound in ages
Long ago truth spell by sages
Trust not eyes that can swear
For they can also lie and dare

Home is the heart that breath
All follies are born to death
Values get a twist and shake
Path only right we can make

Has it said to one or many
To overcome lines of agony
We move and see to our choice
That is silent and meek voice

Blame not those unknown mind
Amazed in you or me to find
Heart is a place that burns
When virtues sleep and groans

Hi Soumita, A work of immense value. A poem of silent exhortation. How was it that nobody noticed this gem! Just the lines: Path only right we can make- truly reflective of the essence of Bhagavat Gita. The famous Gita Shloka Uddharet Aatman aatmanam Na Aatmanam avasadayat Aatmasya hi aatmano bandhur- Aatmaiva ripur aatmanam. Great work. A 10+ for this gem! !
