Twilight Poem by Anjali Mandokhot

Twilight

Have you ever seen that beautiful dame?
Oh! You must be pondering what's her name
She's called Twilight, from East she came
And everyday she comes from the country same

She comes when the world is sound asleep
So, first her grey blue eyes give a peep
Then swiftly on the starry floor she does creep
That's when you can see her in crimson deep

Her russet mantle colours the sky
A breeze touches you when her robes pass by
She sings and chirps, waking those creature that fly
Mischievously she tickles the buds- pink and shy

The warm rays that wake you up and caress your face
Are her golden locks tied in loveknot of golden lace
The fragrance running in you, with your breath's pace
Is actually the breath of that divine grace.

She's damn beautiful with that blushing smile
A fine figure of woman delicate and fragile
I wonder how she's alone at this while
When the monstors of darkness are so horrible and vile

Smiling at my queries she beckons my eyes behind her
And blushingly points to her knight, her saviour
The God of Sun whose weapon of light is her cover
And he's always behind her to every land in each weather.

Oh! Now i know that is the light of love
Spreading everywhere beneath and above
I wonder how the nature is so full of love
Seems all the divine forces are hand in glove

A real sweetness of a dacron to wear with.... poetry excels with a beauty, beyond words The warm rays that wake you up and caress your face Are her golden locks tied in loveknot of golden lace The fragrance running in you, with your breath's pace Is actually the breath of that divine grace.
