Turn Sour Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Turn Sour

Rating: 3.5

How things turn sour?
How clouds force rain to pour?
Somewhere it is not of their doing
Men becomes helpless for just a being

It feels punch when hit hard by speech
May not be intended yet it reach
Make the deep hole and fill the air
Who can term it false or fair?

It is simple way of parting ways
Millions of people come and disappear to go away
No one leaves behind foot print or any fragrance
We take it as betrayal out of ignorance

The pain may be felt if wound is rubbed with salt
The punishment for fairness may be severe than fault
Yet the impact created in mind is deep and heavy
How one can be hopeful and feel at the same time such tragedy
