True Pleasure Poem by Ontomu William

I will tell you today, of the answer you seek, Oh Man!
Listen carefully, grasp firmly these my elderly words
And you will be healed of your pain and wounds
I will pick lines from a life I have self-tested
To give you a good answer to tickle your taste buds
Many a lad I know just like me and another lass of course
Have gone to hell and heaven in search of the answer
And so today I decide to put all plain before thine naked heart
The greatest pleasure on earth where can I find teacher?

I will not say it is in Samantha, I will not say of another
But I remember I once fell for Whisky thinking the same
That my joy would be complete and superfluous
Only to end hurting with pain and guilt and shame!
Yes! Today I will plainly speak before thee where true pleasure
Does reside
And if you will dare heed, I promise you will ne'er regret

Many people seek the address from the wrong custodians
Your father may fail, I am a witness, he will take a running jump!
Never to be seen again and leave you with a heart full of blisters
But God will n'er leave you He we will send you a dad to fill the gap
Our mother will fail, I see daily in the streets betrayer mothers
Mothers who can never stand it when the crunch comes
But some dear ones sacrifice and hold and cuddle their angels
In the cold streets that din with the crunching of footsteps
Of zombies and men who walk and bail for blood, men in search of pleasure



Some go for friends who will fail, never trust a son of man
Too much, if it's Not The Son of Man! Your tears they will fill to the brim
Sometimes the clergy does fail also, some preach wild pleasure too much
And so, today I come as faithful friend to proof myself wrong
That one a true son of God remains on the earth He lives in me
And in them that belief and are filled and are sons of God thus

It is not far away, the pleasure you seek Oh man!
This one I will tell you, it will drown you to life and Joy
This please is sure, its DNA is divine right from God
He ne'er goes wrong, only don't sway to the right to left
It is closer than you thought, right in your mouth and heart
When you believe and confess that Jesus Christ
Died and rose again for you and me, there you go
In Him was the whole world Hewn, torn and hewn again
That we may have exceeding joy in Him and live
In him Forever and ever

So today, as you seek the answer, friend
Don't fall for the fiend, nor for bread that perishes
Seek God first, then the treasures that perishes can follow
Ten seek to fulfil the dreams of another,
Like feeding and lifting the poor, you're blessed to bless
And if you will dare heed, I promise you will ne'er regret
Seek and pursue life, true pleasure in life
Is found in Christ Jesus, the author of all true pleasure
He put Eternity in man, He seeks the love of Mankind
Believe and leave forever, grasp true pleasure
And you will n'er go wrong.
