Thunder Poem by Bernard Onoja

Thunder

Rating: 2.7

Brother of lightening, you announce your presence by impregnating the clouds. Known for your deafening sound, as the sky is heavy with rain.

You run errands nevertheless, to chastise and to punish. Oh! friend of the powerful ones. As they think of how best to use their powers.

To the idoma tribe of the land of river Benue, you remain a symbol of respect, bark while you can Oh Okpabana, but know that the almighty one is greater than you.
