Through Moonlight Poem by Nyx C Styx

Through Moonlight

Rating: 5.0

I seek a posion sure enough for this brain
for thoughts of thee never cease
and your name resounds again and again
not even the night bringeth me peace
for oft I have of thee dreamt
there is nought mercy in my bed
when thy face by some angel sent
has housed it deep inside my head

sweetest love, you are not here
yet some thoughts deny the sight
and keep you by my side near
unceasingly, through day and moonlight

Beautiful love poem elegantly crafted and nicely embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. Lovely and very passionate. Thanks for sharing.

How weak we truly are that without a dear beloved near, We can't go very far. You always express your love so beautifully with that tinge of sadness that never seems to disappear. Another great poem from your love sensitive pen

One day perhaps, the sadness may disappear and with it the love that came with it.
