Those Haunted Faces And Eye's

I look all the people directly in their eyes,
People once broken and trying to survive.
Unawares that in a glance I see thier shame,
And their regrets made strong by thier guilt
I do not know,
When or the how some have chosen to go.
Going out amongst them, they cannot know
How all that they feel bleeds off onto me.
And their pain in a touch I will feel,
Trapped living poor lives, lives I cannot bare,
Meeting eyes that I'm helpless to help.
