Thirteen Poem by Viola Grey

Thirteen

Rating: 4.3

My open window
invites you to enter.
I slumber, restless,
throat exposed,
racing pulse taunting
your ravaged hunger.
Bathed in black
you come to me,
awaken desires burried
by history's torment.
I am only yours.
Forever, I will wander
inside your shadow.
Bowed by love,
I kneel for you.
What saving taste
floods your lips
as my heart
explodes in you.
We drift
through the open window.
Cool passion dying
on an abandoned bed
as I leave this world
with you.

Great imagery. I can actually visualize the slow and deep bite of an exposed neck, while a sweat glistened chest heaves: What saving taste floods your lips as my heart explodes in you. Excellent as always. Stone
