The Voice Within Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I seek to be free
so I've made the decision
now that my head is clear
to trust my better judgment
because my life have gotten heavy
and oftentimes it has been disturbing
I remember these words when times get scary

keep moving forward the battle is not over
walk away from anything that hinders
the passion from within
make it happen and see your way to the end

I found myself at peace
life was never that easy
I kept hope alive
that one day i'd arrive in a better state of mind
and in time, i'd rely
on the voice from within
I made it happen all way to the end
