The Vault Of Heaven Poem by Srivishnu Rentala

The Vault Of Heaven

Rating: 4.5

Have you ever tried sitting under a sky so clear,
and by chance wondered why it is really queer?
In a jiffy it can change from a disastrous scene,
to a soothing, adorable sight never foreseen.

At times when it's annoyed with the inhabitants below,
It bellows with rage and casts storms of rain and snow.
And when we bestow compassion to the heavenly abyss,
it reciprocates the hospitalization with sunshine and bliss.

Be it the time when its afill with fluffy cumulus
or when your picnic was destroyed by clouds of stratus.
The sky is a godown for the array of shades and shapes,
it provides you with content for breathtaking video tapes.

Well at day itself it's a place of solace,
Imagine after dusk, it's a picture, so aweless.
It exhibits the arts of the goddess of night,
and dramatizes the transition of first light to twilight.

Stars that twinkle merrily reside in the ocean of the sky,
God truly has wonderfully decorated the stretches up high.
Magnificent auroras of the poles shimmer in the dark,
Leaving you enthralled with fascination and a spark.

The sky is the place where you'll see a plethora of wonders,
From the pockets of clear heavens, to the times of thunders.
I feel so excited to just let my gaze reach out to the azure
Looking at the colorful rainbow, I derive my pleasure.

Its true the sky can never stick to a single mood,
sometimes it hurts us and sometimes they're absolutely good.
But whatever be the case of sheer truth,
It's our esteemed duty to protect and not pollute.
