The Tale Of Day And Night Poem by Quazi Johirul Islam

Long ago, there was no color of the earth
No black, no white, no dark, no light.
Day and night were not divided
by the line of dawn and dusk.

Only there were two groups of people.
Envy at the heart of one group, they
possess darkness inside.
It was God's will, he made them such a way
so that they couldn't think anything positive,
darkness of their heart they used to throw to the earth
and that is how the dark side of the earth is created.

And the other group was kind to God's
creatures by the will of God.
They used to go across the drought and Tsunami
one land to another land to help people,
They lit the hoary light in the earth and created day.

That is how the day and the night were born.

Now also there are two groups of people in this world.
One group would like to cover the sun by envy;
and the other one lit the dark night
with the light of love.
