The Spring Is Gone Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Spring Is Gone

Rating: 5.0

the spring is gone
and with it the wind
cloyed with sweet fragrances
the trees are silent
the leaves are down and
gone are their feeble utterances

the spring is gone
and the sun comes out
early in the morning burning hot
the sky is out of
reach to the eyes and
looks empty without clouds to float

As you have mentioned, now it is summer - the sun comes out in the morning with burning heart blinding our very eyes.

Dear Anil ji, Thank you for this truthful poem. Absolutely, In India, spring is for such a short period. It has already bid goodbye.
