The Sky I Fly Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Sky I Fly

Rating: 4.8

Come on,
Open up the Sky,
I want to fly,
Inside,
See Heaven side to side,
Don't want to compromise,
With Earth,
Am tired of human dirt,
Come on,
Open up the Sky,
I no longer want to be,
Just a bunch of tears,
Constantly.

An enchantment of words strung together. Beautifully tragic.

A beautiful but ever so sad poem. I guess the trick in living is to take joy out of the little pleasures of life- and Sandra's poetry is not just a little pleasure- but a great one- that brightens people's days- even if sometimes sad.

Heaven will only open up when it needs you. It is not ready for you for you have too much to do here. Yes, human dirt can be dirty yet there is far, far more beauty than dirt in this wonderful world. Thank you Sandra, I love reading you and who knows... when I win the lotto I will buy you a cuppa and a chat x
