The Sky So Blue Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Sky So Blue

Rating: 4.9

I Never saw the sky so blue,
It made me think so much of you,
The then, the when, never again,
The Past is something,
Way back When.

Some teardrops fall,
But not in full,
The heart looks back,
Memories rule,
The Sky so Blue,
The Sea is too,
Neither can take me,
Back to you.

The blue sky and blue waters remind you of a love once as vast as the sky and as deep as the ocean, but now left cloudy and empty with just a handful of nostalgic memories! Don't give up hope.... there can still be a high tide! A passionate write!

Take back the hope you gave, I claim/Only the memory of the same. Sandra, your poem reminds me Robert Browning's famous poem- - - - - - Last Ride Together. The same intensity, the same depth I find here in this beautiful write!
