The Shadow Of Yours

Its drizzling here
and you ain't around
the rising scent
is breaking me down
i catch your shadow
and curse it hard
it says nothing
just slips a card
that says you're busy
can't show up tonight
'with love' at the bottom
to freeze the fight
i hold the shadow
and sob with it
it puts me back
bit after bit..
