The People Without Wealth Are Considered As Worse Than The Corpse!
However you live the life of a saint by wearing
the saffron infused cloth around your waist,
having the wealth worth of tens and eights
creates the pride among many people around!
In spite of a person being born in a family
of higher genetic inheritance whatsoever,
The people who have no sufficient wealth
are considered as worse than the corpse!

This poem 'The people without wealth are considered as worse than the corpse! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Naalatiyaar'
ஒருவிகற்ப இன்னிசை வெண்பா
அத்திட்ட கூறை அரைச்சுற்றி வாழினும்
பத்தெட் டுடைமை பலருள்ளும் பாடெய்தும்
ஒத்த குடிப்பிறந்தக் கண்ணுமொன் றில்லாதார்
செத்த பிணத்திற் கடை.281 இன்மை, நாலடியார்
