The Moon Poem by Saeed Jan

The Moon

In the dark night, from my chamber,
Through a broken window,
I look at the moon in the sky,
Seeming to be, as if calling me,
We are the same, she is alone there,
Amidst millions of stars,
and me on earth, But a paradox it is,
That we are not meant to meet,
Yet, I have the power of fancy,
To meet her and feel her with me
Such power, that no one can take her,
No one can separate her from me,
Where, she is the queen of that realm,
And will rule, till the last o my breath
