The Meeting Poem by Clayton Anderson

The Meeting

Rating: 4.5

In the breeze of a summer's night two hearts become one;
Amidst the light of the moon their eyes will meet;
Her silken touch; glistening lips; and that twinkle in her eyes;
The air grows thick with the energy of their souls reaching out for one another;
His hands will pull her close;
Her hair falls to her cheek;
He gently slides his fingers across her skin and brushes her hair back as he stares into her eyes;
With his hand sliding behind her head he leans in and kisses her;
Softly, Gently, Passionately;
She closes her eyes and feels a shock inside of her;
Like lightning striking a lonesome tree their energy ignites a flame inside of them that could only be doused by fate.

Made me smile. Damn boy you're definitely a poet. Don't forget hair on a woman is 'peach fuzz' but still liked it immensely. Regards Craig
