The Makeshift Lab Poem by Justin Gildow

The Makeshift Lab

Looking around the makeshift lab
There's a table with potions on it
Beakers, flasks, and test tubes
While above them
A shelf of books sit and lie neatly arranged
With a dead prisoner's bones rattling
And chains hanging down
