The Joys Of Summer (Cavatina) Poem by Gert Strydom

The Joys Of Summer (Cavatina)

The comforting warmth of the sun falling
through the window,
the voices of many birds calling serene
from the meadow
while the new morning rushes on boundless,
the pure blue glow
of a ethereal sky does reminds me
of the joys of summer, of tranquillity.
