The Glory Of Spring Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

The Glory Of Spring

Rating: 5.0

I walked a mile in the green- - -
.....A meadow near remade
Of Gerber Daisies stalwart stance
.....And the meadow's greenest blade.

Spring came calling 'pon Pink Tulip's breeze
.....Only to remind the dauntless daffodil
That for mile's & mile's of valley view- - -
.....That her Butter Yellow is brightest still.

Spring speaks it's best in colour's shown
.....And in sweet fragrances taken in
Upon a palette of sheer emerald sheen- - - -
.....Where once Winter snow had been.
