Years back, when we met
Situation was not set
For us to know each other
And not even a word I could utter


There was a girl, cute and charming
Who bridged the gap between us
From then we started talking
Like I could have never imagined


You were the first one, Whom I called
When I was glad and sad
At times of desolation I recalled
Those memorable memories that we shared

You tease me a lot, for silly things
No, almost for everything
But stood by my side to console
When others did the same to me


Our journey together started from
being strangers to friends
But now on you I can always depend
For you are my best friend
