Friendship Poem by Priya Dharsini

Friendship

A guy and a girl whose
Thoughts differ, Views differ
Cultures differ, Customs differ
Castes differ, Complexions differ
Had a clash of words
In a social media.

Gradually friendship blossomed between them
And the girl fell in for him.
But the guy was too concerned
Not to hurt her feelings and
Not to let their long distance friendship down.

Time and work kept them occupied
But the spirit of friendship
Stayed alive in their hearts.
One fine day, he accepted to meet her
She was dumbstruck and said to herself
"Of Course, Fairy Tales do exist"! ! ! !
