The Blindman Finally Sees Poem by Jake Andrews

The Blindman Finally Sees

First day i asked you please
Second day i dropped to my knees
Third day i found love is a disease
Fourth day the blind man finally sees

And now i open my eyes
only to find out to my suprise
Love is filled with lies
The blind man never cries

Now i sit here thinking of you
Now i have nothing better to do
Now i have everthing to lose
Because the blind man cannot choose

This is not the way it was supposed to go
This is not the light you were supposed to show
You left me with nothing but a faint glow
My heart is decaying real slow

You brought this Blindman into the light
Left me in Darkness and full of fright
I cannot breath and my chest is tight
I was only used to thinking in black and white

Now i see the world, for me what does it hold?
Come tell me do I fit the mold?
Please dont leave me standing in the cold
I dont want my heart to collapse and fold
