The Black Knight Poem by Kylie Ehlinger

The Black Knight

Rating: 4.0

The darkness caresses,
It seeks the sweet spot,
Its breath cold on my skin.
Its eyes roam,
Like my lover of eternity
It wants to devour.
It kisses me sweetly,
Ever so gently.
Now is the moment
That my heart turns to ice,
My breath quickens
As it slips inside.
The thunder is a chorus,
A melody,
To the everlasting lovemaking
Of the forbidden darkness.
The rain shatters all it caresses
Making my skin like an arctic landscape.
And I dance in the shadows,
The shadows of men long past,
Who cry out in the dead of night
To be seen, to be heard,
To be loved...
But the night is enticing,
It enthralls the senses.
But I do not see another,
For I am forever the Mistress.
I cannot turn back now,
My soul,
My very essence,
Is surrendered.
Kiss me now, my black knight,
Seal my fate,
I am forever yours.
