What love
Could this love be?
My heart withers,
My insides turn to rot,
But here,
In a place so cold,
Was laid to rest
My unconditional love for thee.
I have been broken,
Placed in the dark recesses
Of the world
To be forgotten,
Exposed to the fragility
Of my own inner sanctum.
But there,
In the small light of my heart
Is where you will find it.
It is where I have placed it,
To never be lost
Or broken,
My unconditional love,
My love for thee.
