Many jewels in crown
Known and unknown
Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan*(name)
Most adorable Indian
First known teacher
And preacher
Even at Oxford
With profound words
We shall pay tribute
For he did contribute
Richly to the nation
And in the field of education
I had seen him in president's chariot
When he was leaving office and moving out
We, the soldiers, were lined up with gun salute
I had little glimpse of him to state
Such people really helped nation
Improved image with scholarly contribution
We may fail in our duty
If their names are not taken as flower's beauty
flower's beauty, great one sir. Let us salute Sarvapalli!
I don't know anything about Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, but your poem paints him as very special and much loved person. Avril Meallem, Jerusalem, Israel Sep 05,2014
