Terror Of Different Kind Poem by Sandesh Paudyal

Terror Of Different Kind

Rating: 4.0

Two little wings, flap at my ear
Melody so unpleasant, you don’t wanna hear
Sometimes to the left, and sometime to the right
Intentions pretty clear, won’t go down without a fight

Trumpets were blown, battle starts hence
He checks his stance, I setup my fence
The aim taken, target was my arm
Prepared was I, so that caused no harm

I countered to attack, silently steady palm
Up’s he went, I wasn’t that calm
Suddenly there were two of him, well that wasn’t fair
But as they say in battle damn do they care?

Mosaic wasn’t I, things turned serious now
I must and should win, can’t figure out how
Triggered the trap so hard, brother gave me a look
I stared at him, then to my palm wishing for a hook

Things turned sorry, I was devoid of a drip
Buzz! ! ! They come again, gave my arm a strip
Ouch! ! ! Pierced twice now, things got hot
I slammed and slammed but that counted not

My quick little fellas, I concede you the night
And with no best of luck, I turn off the light
