Tender Age Shelter Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Tender Age Shelter

Tender age shelter

A bulldog is chosen
-to act as herd's shepherd;
-terrorises his face and actions
-and his barks are needles;
-penetrate deep in bones and brain
-with signals that are source of unrest!

Voted for, has some rights
-abuses everyone…
-He is like the cat in the poem
- "Cat and Mouse" by Obeid of Zakan.

The mice heard promise
-of the cat in the mosque
- (crying, repenting to Allah.)
-They pitied, went with gifts to greet.

Cat is cat and loves meet
-enjoys the sound of teeth's squeak
-when chewing the bone of hardworking…

Therefore, the swear, oath and repent
-to him are value-less and worthless!

Freedom therefore is (from him)
-enhancing what he signs as decrees
-the orders, executive:
- "Build walls, don't tolerate…"

Then grab bastard cat
-and throw within bars
-and ask him: "Where from? "

Force him to explain in detail
-of his root, origin and his wealth.
- "How you earned, collected
-lands, condos and hotels, cottages? "

Anything but cheating and abuse?
-Then he must go, remain in the jail
-without his family, water, food!
