Teach Them Poem by Nachum Russell

It's inhumane to beat your dog, but children that's ok. No not like hit and smack, that'd be the old way. I'm talking beating them into a square, for them to fit in is the only care. We read them all the same book, yet we say it's their own story. Yea we chose their name their fame their glory. So worried about when we're gone how this planet will look, when really the youth are the author of that book. Teach them to love and not to hate, teach them to give double what they take. The now is a present from all before and only we can change what which the world has in store.
