Love Or Lust? Poem by Nachum Russell

Love Or Lust?

Rating: 5.0

So very wrong yet it feels so right
As I hold my secret o so tight
Love or lust?
To hard to fight.
As the seeds are planted the flowers grow
So very obvious yet no one will know
The lines are crossed and the boundaries tossed.
I don't know where I'm going, barely remember where I've been.
Maybe the pleasure is living in sin.
The forbidden fruits that grow on her trees,
Shake me like an earthquake, and I fall to my knees.
I've gone to a place I've never been before,
But do I want to leave? Is there even a door?
Show me a sign lord let me know it's all right.
Please let me hold her just for tonight.
