Why Wait? Poem by Nachum Russell

Why Wait?

Rating: 5.0

Why wait to die to start to live
Don't let life take, be the one to give
Grab the now before it's forever gone
And hang on to the moments that were once yours
Yes a time will come when this will all be clear
Free from shackles and chains of fear
When our thirst will be quenched by a simple tear.
But why wait till then to live this year?

Free from shackles and chains of fear. It's a nice line. eradication of fear is such a tiresome task because they have been deeprooted within our soul and wearing true bravery out from our true-seeking hearts. Fetters of fear are twisted around our logic but as you said waiting just make them stronger and tighten.
